![]() ![]() With the aptly-named Fire Horn, Bards can breathe flames onto a group of monsters. More often than not however, the difference-maker is going to be all of the magical instruments that are found in dungeons. During battle their tunes take on different effects, and will help keep the party thriving. While exploring, the Bard's melodies can confer a host of benefits, including hit-point regeneration, or reduced damage from enemies. In order to get the most out of this quest, it's prudent to recruit a Bard. It's great for resuming progress, and even better for escaping a hopeless situation. Outside of a few exceptions, this spell allows the caster to move to any tile in the dungeon. Still, it helps to learn the teleportation spell Apport Arcane. Eventually, some players will tire of spending their dungeon treks getting hopelessly lost, and then they'll seek out something a little more forgiving. If the party is moving too fast, they could land on a teleporter, be thrown through a spinner, or get wiped out by a blast of poison. The Bard's Tale is very traditional when it comes to dungeons. However, becoming strong enough to topple the Gods themselves doesn't mean much, if you can't find your way out of a maze. Then there's the high-level Monk, who can slay a dragon with one punch. An entire legion of berserkers can't even lay a scratch on her. Picture a Paladin decked out in the mightiest armour. The New Year came and by now, much like Pavlov's dogs, we were all salivating in anticipation of each and every Speedy Tuesday in January. A beautiful watch indeed, just not one for me for a number of reasons (including but not limited to, the price tag). Omega did release the 50th in March (2019), but it was in "Moonshine" gold, not platinum and it was powered by Omega's latest generation Speedmaster movement, the 3861. Knowing however that we were about to celebrate the Apollo 11's 50th, I figured Omega might use the 321 and release both platinum & steel versions. A very logical move by Omega, but alas, bad news for me and all the other steel-watch lovers. A few weeks after the news of the 321 broke, there were already rumors that the first watch that would have the honor of being powered by this iconic caliber would be in Platinum. Once I heard the news, I knew I had to have it!
